Below zero

Temps here last night dropped below zero and wind was wild along with it. Wind chill was as low as -40 at times but generally about -20.

I worked the past two nights. Told the agency I'm taking tonight off unless someone offers a significant bonus to make it worth the effort. Between the temperature and the fact that taking the bus adds as much as 5 hours to a 12 hour shift, it gets tiring after a couple of nights. Besides, if the hospitals have enough staff call off, they'll be offering more money to those who wait to accept shifts.

Think some of the plants in the colder rooms will be a loss. Rooms got too cold. I had to close them off to keep the dog out but that also closed the heat out. Know in a couple of days which will survive.

Exhausted. Need some sleep.
