More expansion

Got canceled again tonight. Really not happy about it.

But since there was still some daylight left, went out and did a bit outside. Raked the loose rocks from the block wall into a pile. Still wish I could borrow a sledge from someone so I could smash all the broken blocks to rubble. Still, the front yard looks better.

Decided to make a small expansion to the garden. This one shouldn't take all that much work. There's a chain link fence along the north side of the yard. Been mostly ignoring it because of bamboo, weeds and vines which have grown there. Those things have largely been removed now and a 30-40 ft stretch would make a great place to plant climbing vine crops. Most of those crops have fairly shallow root systems, so no deep digging necessary. I do plan on defining the area with some red bricks I have lying around and mulching heavily. Can do all that tomorrow morning. Won't take long. I know some strawberries climb, so going to look into those for that area but peas and beans may be a better choice due to soil condition. Do some reading tonight and then make a decision.
